Christmas Pictures...

Austin sent the following pictures when we video chatted with him on Christmas Eve.  There was no letter that week. He sounded great.  Happy and growing and maturing and learning to navigate through the hard things. He mentioned the frustration of not being able to do more or to serve more. He loves the people of Mongolia and wishes he could do more to help.  He was frustrated with some of the members and their lack of desire to love and fellowship the newly baptized members in the ward.  He is surviving the cold and kind of loves it.  

 We were walking around and ran into this lady leading a reindeer.  So cool.

 These pictures are from our English club. There were not a lot of people here this week because of finals.  The university gave us a lecture hall to use. 

 I was giving a presentation on Christmas. 

 On of my students.  He's pretty cool.  The girls in the background only came because they saw some "cute American's" were teaching the class.  We overheard them talking in the hall. haha

 So the members in the city put on a major Christmas music program.  It was so cool.  This lady sang a song in the program.

 Traditional Mongolian instruments called morin khuur.  They sound so cool.

 These cute little kids sang some songs.  

 

 The guy in the white suit was on The Voice Mongolia.  He is super talented.  The girl in the front in the red and blue floral and stripped dress is a sister missionary.  She actually went home this week with some serious kidney stone issues.  

 We don't know who the little girls are.  They just wanted to be in the picture. haha
